What do you do when you realize things need to change? Personally, I’ve always struggled with change. I like things to be just how I set them up, nice and predictable. But life has a way of teaching us that we must live on its terms. We have to accept what comes our way and learn to adapt.
At Stark Naked Body Products, we’ve been going through quite a few changes lately, with more on the horizon. Recently, we made the difficult decision to shut down our in-person location at McKinney Trade Days. That experience was incredibly rewarding—I loved every moment of "playing store," as a friend put it. I made new friends, helped people find quality skincare products tailored to their needs, and introduced designer perfume and cologne inspired fragrances to the average shopper.
But as fulfilling as that chapter was, life has its own demands. My family and I have been facing some health challenges, and I realized that I can’t do it all. Something had to give, and closing the shop, though tough, was ultimately the right decision. For all my local customers, don’t worry—you can still order online, meet me for pickup, or have your products shipped directly to you!
Change isn’t just about cutting back; it’s also about growth. With the extra time, I’m focusing on becoming a better businesswoman, not just a creator. Let me tell you, it’s been an eye-opening experience. The website is in dire need of updates, but before diving into that, I’m working on product analytics to ensure everything is done efficiently. They say, "Man plans, and God laughs," so I’m trying to take it all in stride.
So, keep an eye out for some exciting updates—new website features, product name changes, and even some pricing adjustments. Change is never easy, but it’s necessary, and I’m excited for what’s to come.
