Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Despite it's name, Lemon Eucalyptus isn't actually a blend of lemon and eucalyptus oils! Distilled from the leaves of the Eucalyptus citriodora (now known as Corymbia citriodora), Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil has an enlivening yet calming aroma that is very fresh, cool, lemony, with rosy, citronella-like notes and a sweet balsamic, slightly floral drydown; it has a softer, less cineolic aroma than other Eucalyptus oils.
The fresh and pleasant aroma of Lemon Eucalyptus is well suited for diffusion into the air, outdoor sprays, insect repellents, foot lotions, chest rubs, and oily skin preparations. It is uplifting and refreshing in soap and fragrance formulations and a favorite of massage practitioners for addition in muscle, joint, and post-workout massage blends.
