All over social media you see these pictures of beautiful women taking pictures of their products. Who are these women who get their skinny asses dressed (in something other than pj's), perfect their hair and makeup (if I even bother, I go with ponytail and yesterday's makeup), and start a photoshoot of their photoshoot? Why can't I be that girl? Oh yeah... it's too much work and you don't get to eat cupcakes for breakfast. Also, I suspect that those women are a very small group of the people who create, photograph, and sell the products. Am I being sexist here? Judgmental? Probably. Apologies in advance. Don't get me wrong, I'm freaking awesome. A lot more awesome than I was when I was twenty and thin and my crazy brain makes me more creative. Or my creativity made me crazy. Hmmm...
Anyway, today I spent the morning taking new pictures of my soaps and adding them to my website. I have a lot to learn about taking and editing photos but overall, I'm happy with what I did. Check out my updated product photos! I welcome tips and constructive criticism but don't be mean because I don't need that in my life.
